Lainie Chat invented her superhero persona Electro Girl when she was diagnosed with epilepsy at nineteen years of age. Her book,  Electro Girl: Living a symbiotic existence with epilepsy is a record of living with epilepsy for twenty-five years and advocates that a holistic approach with medication and lifestyle has minimised a condition that was once fearful and a burden.
