Yarra Libraries temporarily closed

Monday 03 August 2020

Yarra City Council is temporarily closing its libraries from 5pm on Wednesday 8 July, to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) within the community and our workforce.

Yarra’s five library branches at Collingwood, Carlton North, Richmond, Fitzroy and North Fitzroy (Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library) will close to the public until further notice.

As of Thursday 6 August, the Home Library and Binge Bundle services will cease, until further notice.

All library programs will continue to be delivered online as scheduled.

Please keep your items at home. Returns chutes are closed until further notice.

Remember, we don't charge late fees and will renew items on your behalf. No items will be due for return until Sunday 30 August 2020 and will be renewed automatically if our libraries remain closed after this date.

Enjoy the library from home and access our wide range of online resources including ebooks, audiobooks, Boredom Busters, online Storytimes and more.
