Walk to School 2018 is just around the corner. Join hundreds of schools across Victoria from Monday 8 October to Friday 2 November by getting your children's school registered. Walk to School encourages Victorian primary school students to walk, ride or scoot to and from school.

We've joined the Week Without Violence (WWV) campaign with Northern Integrated Family Violence Services and Neighbourhood Justice Centre. Week Without Violence is a global campaign held during the third week of October to end violence against women. It's a reminder to connect, listen and believe people who talk about their experience of family violence.
We've launched our new Wellness Booth program across our branches. Staffed by our Community Wellbeing Social Support Officer, this program lets you drop in for a chat and get help with referrals to local organisations, initiatives, and programs in our area.

Yarra Libraries is proud to introduce “Connected Community”, an iPad lending program funded by the State Government aimed at bridging the digital divide within our community. This program lends iPads and portable modems to library patrons over the age of 55 and those with disabilities.
Pick Me Up features events, festivals, exhibitions, concerts, opportunities for young people, projects presented by our grant recipients and information about Yarra’s programs such as Room to Create and our Artist in Residence program.
