For Kids

We run regular sessions for kids throughout the year from Babytime and Rhymetime, through to Pre-School Storytime, Library Playgroups and Lego Club. And keep and eye on our Events Calendar for our free school holiday programs and regular events and programs for kids of all ages.

 


 

Regular sessions for Pre-schoolers

 

Babytime

Enjoy songs, rhymes, rhythm and movement with your baby in these interactive half-hour sessions, every week during school terms.
Carlton Wednesdays 2pm

Rhymetime

Designed for toddlers, these half-hour sessions use stories, rhymes, fingerplays, songs and instruments to develop language and literacy skills. Held every week during school terms.

Pre-school Storytime

Pre-school children are introduced to a wide range of stories, books, songs and activities, developing language, social and motor skills. Held every week during school terms.

Library Playgroups

Join us for our Library Playgroups, held weekly all year round. Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their children for a fun and informal time to socialise, play and choose stories to share.

Lego Club

Got a Lego fanatic in your household? They'll love our regular Lego sessions.
Negotiation, listening, speaking and technical skills are all enhanced in this fun-focussed hands-on program. For kids aged six and over.

Bring along a book and enjoy some reading time along with book discussions, reviews, games and more! Grades 4-6.

Busythings

An ever-growing number of activities for early learners whatever their aptitudes and abilities.
Full of quirky characters: parachuting pink men, dancing robots, a doughnut-eating monkey and many others. It's a fun place to be! With over 115 activities covering four areas of Early Years Foundation Stage.
