Recipes

 

French Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • ½ tablespoon of butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Utensils:

  • Stove top burner
  • Small non-stick pan
  • Whisk
  • Spatula

Dahl

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of red lentils
  • 2 tablespoons of turmeric powder
  • 1 litre stock (or water)
  • Sprig of curry leaves (or 20 loose curry leaves)
  • salt taste

Kitchen Utensils:

  • Stove top burner
  • Medium/large pot
  • Measuring cup(s)
  • Wooden Spoon

 

Yum Balls

Ingredients:

  • 250g plain sweet biscuits
  • 395g sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1½ cups desiccated coconut (for rolling)

Kitchen Utensils:

  • Food processor or rolling pin + sealable bag
  • Large bowl
  • Measuring cup(s)
  • Wooden Spoon
