Wish you could spend more time at the library? Great news! We're pleased to announce the introduction of un-serviced hours at Carlton Library, Collingwood Library, Richmond Library and Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library.

Attend a simple induction program to upgrade your library membership and gain access to extended hours from 8am to 10pm on most days of the week, including public holidays.

Borrowing, Wi-Fi, public PCs, study spaces, print, scan and copy services will all be available.

This project was inspired by European public and academic libraries who offer 24/7 access and in response to community feedback about our opening hours. It is expected that the Open Library program will be extended to more branches in the future.

This upgrade is only available to members aged 16 years and older and is subject to additional terms and conditions.
