Little Street Libraries in Yarra

Street Libraries are a community-led initiative where you can freely borrow books from small weather-proof housings scattered around neighbourhoods. When our branches are closed, you may find you’re able to pick up some new reads from a nearby Street Library.

Books come and go from them and there’s no need to check them in or out - just grab what takes your fancy. When you’re done, return the book, or even return a different book that you think people would enjoy. Just make sure that you’re following social distancing guidelines and only visiting a Street Library as part of your daily exercise, and please make sure you wash your hands before and after handling books.
