Yarra STEAM Labs

Yarra Steam Labs After-School Programs

Yarra STEAM Labs are a reimagining of our much-loved after-school programs for kids, launching from Monday 19 April. Designed to provide a fun and inclusive place for kids to discover more about science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, various Labs can be found at all branches throughout the week.
All Labs will run during school term only. Bookings required (lab coats optional).

Art Lab (formerly known as Kids Creative Club) is suitable for all kids aged 5+.
Each Lab will have different materials available.

Maker Lab (formerly known as Tech Club) is suitable for all kids aged 8+.
Some Labs will be tech-free on occasion.

LEGO Lab (formerly known as LEGO Club) is suitable for all kids aged 5+.
Younger siblings will need to be supervised by a parent/carer at all times.

Yarra STEAM Labs have been developed to help support a digitally enabled community, by providing access to smart technologies and encouraging broad participation so everyone can share the benefits of our smart city. Learn more about Yarra's Smart City vision.

The Lab is a technology club for young people who identify as being on the autism spectrum and who enjoy working with computers. It offers mentoring from technology experts and the chance to meet other kids who share similar interests in a supportive environment. Learn more about The Lab.
