For Kids

Kids Programming

Yarra Libraries supports early literacy development through the delivery of preschool programs including Storytime, Babytime and Rhymetime. These programs are held weekly during school term. We also help to foster a love of learning with regular after-school programs, covering STEM subjects, arts and creativity, and run a separate specialised program every School Holidays.

When our libraries are closed, you can access videos of our storytellers and librarians reading some of their favourite books and singing familiar songs, as well as online resources that can help your children maintain literacy and a love of reading and learning while at home.

📺 Don't forget to check out our Vimeo page for all of our past activities and programs!
