On Tuesday 9 October we launched a new interactive website called PastPort Yarra.

The website allows community members to discover and share their history and heritage. Users can then create and follow history walks and explore the area through historical themes.

The website was developed and launched the website in partnership with the University of Melbourne.

The City of Yarra is home to some of Melbourne's first suburbs, 19th century shopping strips and old industrial buildings and areas.

The launch had more than 50 people in attendance to support the website.

PastPort Yarra was launched to mark 2018 History Week.
